Mount Vernon Cardiology Associates joins Inova Medical Group

Alexandria, VA – March 23, 2015 – The Inova Medical Group (IMG), a team of talented and experienced physicians employed by Inova, is pleased to announce that Mount Vernon Cardiology has joined their team. IMG provides world-class healthcare for the Northern Virginia and greater Washington, DC, metro area.

Mount Vernon Cardiology Associates, Ltd. has been providing exceptional cardiovascular care to the Northern Virginia area for 30 years. The practice was started by Dr. Cleveland Francis as a solo practice in 1978, in the Mount Vernon area near Inova Mount Vernon Hospital. This culturally diverse practice has since grown to 10 physicians practicing in 4 locations offering a broad range of services and comprehensive cardiovascular care.

Over those 30 years, although the size and the look of the practice have changed, the vision has never changed: provide the highest quality of cardiovascular care with a personal, caring touch. Each new physician who joins the practice joins because of that vision. Each patient who visits the practice can attest to that vision.
