Fairfax, Loudoun Counties Get Vital Mental Health Services
Falls Church, VA – (November 23, 2009) – Inova Health System has opened three new outpatient behavioral health clinics in Fairfax and Loudoun Counties, in areas that previously lacked these vital services. Established in the Mount Vernon area, northern Fairfax County and Leesburg, the clinics provide patients with access to behavioral health evaluations, medication evaluations and ongoing medication management.
“Mental health is an important yet often overlooked healthcare service,” said Shirley Repta, Executive Director, Behavioral Health, Inova Health System. “Our goal is to provide world-class, financially viable behavioral health services to all the communities we serve.”
Services at the new clinics are provided by a team of experienced psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse practitioners (a licensed clinical psychologist is available for individual therapy and psychological testing at the northern Fairfax clinic location).
The clinics also offer a Partial Hospitalization Program, which provides a structured treatment setting for individuals transitioning from psychiatric inpatient settings or for patients who, without partial hospitalization, would require inpatient care.

Hello I am looking at a outpatient therapy place for my boyfriend as he is dealing with severe depression and severe grief with some very bad thoughts. I am trying to find someone also who may be able to prescribe medicine if need be, he would like mornings M-F before 1pm due to his work schedule.
