Inova announces recipients of annual Community Health Opportunities funding in support of local nonprofits

Fairfax, VA – Inova today announced Community Health Opportunities funding for 26 nonprofit organizations working to address the social drivers of health and improve the well-being of Northern Virginia residents.

The recipients were selected through a competitive application process that drew nearly 100 proposals from organizations across the region.
“Improving health extends far beyond the walls of our hospitals and care sites,” said J. Stephen Jones, MD, FACS, President and CEO, Inova. “These organizations are trusted partners in our communities, helping address challenges such as food insecurity, behavioral health, housing concerns, access to care and other factors that impact health and well-being.
