Inova Brings Behavioral Health Services to Community

Leesburg, VA — Inova is pleased to announce the opening of the Inova Kellar Center – Loudoun, bringing critical, additional adolescent mental health services to the community. The Kellar Center, based in Fairfax County, provides a full continuum of outpatient services and programs, including individual, family and group therapy, medication management, psychiatric evaluations, psychological testing as well as intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization programs.

“These services are desperately needed in Loudoun and we are committed to providing what’s necessary to create a healthy community for all,” stated Deborah Addo, CEO, Inova Loudoun Hospital.

The over 7,000 square foot Center is located at 46050 Manekin Plaza, Sterling (near Dulles Town Center) incorporating a multidisciplinary team of clinicians including child and adolescent psychiatrists, licensed mental health professionals, and clinical support staff.

“For more than 25 years the Inova Kellar Center has been providing behavioral health services for children, adolescents and their families,” commented Rick Leichtweis, PhD, Senior Director, Inova Kellar Center.  “Our expansion to Loudoun County affords this community access to the same adolescent behavioral expertise only closer to home, and we look forward to being of service.”

The Center is made possible through philanthropy. A partnership with Inova and visionaries Art and Betty Kellar, who had a strong commitment to serve children and families in the multicultural

Northern Virginia region, was founded in 1991. Carrying on the commitment of their parents, Mary Kellar, Judy Kellar Box and grandchildren Casey and Nathan Box and Amy Kellar, continue to support the development of mental health and substance use disorder services in the Northern Virginia region. Over the years the Kellar Family Foundation has provided millions of dollars in support of Inova Kellar Center.
