Inova Loudoun Hospital Statement

Leesburg, VA – October 16, 2014 – A patient with a recent low grade fever and recent travel history to West Africa did present to Inova Loudoun Hospital today.

All of Inova’s infection prevention precautions and protocols were put in place prior to the patient being placed directly in isolation.  The patient received a preliminary evaluation by Inova Loudoun Hospital physicians in coordination with local and state health departments.  The patient didn’t meet the threshold for Ebola.
