View the latest issue of inHealth (PDF) (October 2, 2013) Any activity where impact occurs — such as sports or even car accidents — can put children and adults at risk for concussions that can have many negative effects on the human body. Concussion symptoms vary greatly from person to person and may include difficulty concentrating, difficulty thinking clearly, headache, dizziness, changes in vision, irritability, sleep disturbances, balance problems, and sensitivity to noise or light.
