Inova Sponsors Workforce Development Program

Four hired for Inova positions

Falls Church, VA — Inova Health System’s Dream B!G Program, in partnership with the Workforce Innovation Skills Hub and Melwood, sponsored a four-week workforce development program for people interested in a healthcare career, including training for patient registration roles and additional direct-hire opportunities resulting in four participants offered positions. 

“I heard about the program and came to the first meeting to learn more, and so glad I did,” commented Debora.  “We worked on resumes, interviewing and people skills as Inova talked to us about a career in healthcare.  For me, they have openings at Fairfax Hospital, just four blocks from where I’m moving, flexible hours which means a lot as I have children and the pay is more than I’m making now. I am so excited!”

Individuals interested in joining the Inova team could look forward to flexible hours with multiple shift availability to ensure work/life balance and a starting pay at $18 an hour.
