Roberta A. Tinch Named President of Inova Mount Vernon Hospital

Mount Vernon, VA – Inova announces that Roberta A. Tinch, MHA, FACHE has been named President of Inova Mount Vernon Hospital and Administrator of the Musculoskeletal service line.

Roberta joins Inova from HCA Johnston-Willis Hospital in Richmond, a 300-bed hospital and Level 3 Trauma Center, where she served as Chief Operating Officer. She is an accomplished executive with more than a decade of experience leading hospital operations, employee relations and the development of physician partnerships that result in enhancing team member engagement and patient experiences. Prior to Johnston-Willis Hospital, Roberta was COO at HCA Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center in Fredericksburg and Associate Chief Operating Officer at HCA Brandon Regional Hospital in Tampa.

Roberta is a Virginia native, attending University of Virginia for her undergraduate program and Virginia Commonwealth University where she earned her master’s of health administration degree.  Her commitment to the community is evident through her extensive volunteer work with the YMCA, March of Dimes annual March for Babies, and she has a seat on the University of Mary Washington’s College of Business Advisory Board.
