Donors Needed for Memorial Day Weekend

Due to increased blood usage, Inova Blood Donor Services is seeking blood donations over Memorial Day weekend. Holiday weekends are traditionally a difficult time for blood donations because usage is higher due to traumas and car accidents, and because there is low donor turnout due to holiday plans. Donors are needed to support our community’s patients. 

Inova Blood Donor Services is hosting a Road Trip Prep event on Saturday, May 25, with a Donor’s Choice $10 Gift Card* for Exxon Mobil, Starbucks or Amazon. On Sunday, May 26, and Monday, May 27, donors will receive a themed t-shirt* as a thank you for their donation! Inova Blood Donor Services will be closed on Friday, May 24.
