“MAY THE FOURTH BE WITH YOU” DONATION EVENT!

It is almost time for our second Annual May the Fourth Be with You Donor Center Event!  Join us at any of three donation center locations on Saturday, May 4, 2019, to participate.  

All donors will receive a themed t-shirt* as a thank you for their donation.  Plus, all donors will be automatically entered to win a pair of tickets to the Saturday, June 15, Washington Nationals STAR WARS™ Day baseball game.

Donate blood, platelets, plasma or red cells to give patients what they need to heal, feel better and be able to spend more time with family and friends this summer.  All blood transfused in hospitals comes from volunteer blood donors. Blood donations take less than an hour and can help save up to three patients.

Inova Blood Donor Services plays a critical role in the region by supporting the majority of hospitals in the Washington DC metro region, including all Inova hospitals, with a safe and adequate blood supply for patients in the diverse community we serve.  To support the needs of the region, Inova Blood Donor Services must collect 200 units a day from generous blood, platelet, plasma and double red cell donors.
