Inova Alexandria Hospital Named Chamber of Commerce Member of the Year
Hospital recognized for 40+ years of steadfast support
Alexandria, VA – The Alexandria Chamber of Commerce has named Inova Alexandria Hospital its 2018 Member of the Year. This award recognizes the hospital’s long-time involvement with the Chamber, which includes board representation, committee involvement, partnerships and sponsorships.
“Inova Alexandria Hospital is a steadfast supporter of the Chamber through its commitment to our mission and programs,” said Gin Kinneman, Chair of the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. “Contributions include work on the Board of Directors, Government Relations Committee, the Young Leader’s Network, the Inner Circle, and presenting sponsor of the Valor Awards, which honor the brave women and men of the Alexandria Police and Fire Departments, and Sheriff’s Office.”
The hospital has been an active member of the Alexandria Chamber since 1977, working side by side to optimize community health and well-being. “We are very proud to be named the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce’s 2018 Member of the Year,” said Rina Bansal, MD, MBA, Acting Chief Executive Officer and Chief Medical Officer, Inova Alexandria Hospital. “Strong community connection is a distinguishing characteristic of our hospital, and we look forward to many more years of collaboration with this great organization to support the community where we live and work.”
