Halloween Blood Donation Event

Sterling, VA – Blood Shortages are Scary! Help us boost the supply available for patients in our community and join us at our Halloween Center Event on October 31!!   As a thank you, all donors will receive a themed long-sleeved Halloween t-shirt*!  Plus, we’ll have special snacks (“Frankenfurters,” cupcakes and more!) and decorations!

All blood transfused in hospitals comes from volunteer blood donors. One blood donation takes less than an hour and can help save up to three patients. To make your appointment to donate blood or to learn more, please call 1-866-BLOODSAVES or visit inovablood.org.

Woodburn Donor Center OPEN 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. (regular hours)

Photo ID Required. Please allow one hour for your blood donation and allow 90-120 minutes for your platelet donation. Platelet donors should not take any aspirin or aspirin-related products within 48 hours prior to donation. Visit inovablood.org to learn more about platelet donation.
