“We are delighted to have the Loudoun County High School Chamber Choir present a holiday concert,” said Joan Elliott, Chair of the Lights of Love Committee. The Chamber Choir is directed by Willis Rosenfeld, a professional accompanist. “What better time than the joyous holiday season to honor special people in our lives,” continued Elliott. The celebration highlights include the tree lighting, reading of the honorees, live Christmas music and, of course, attendees lighting their candles.
Lighting this year’s tree is Dr. Marissa Jamarik, Chief Nursing Officer at Inova Loudoun Hospital, on behalf of the 52 nursing students who received scholarships from The Ladies Board this year. Also speaking will be Deborah Addo, Chief Executive Officer, at Inova Loudoun.
Lights of Love is a year-round fund-raising project that honors special people in our lives. All proceeds are given to the Ladies Board Nursing Scholarship Fund. To donate or learn more, visit LadiesBoard.org or call 703-771-2985.
