Inova Personalized Health Accelerator program will host a kickoff event Nov. 30

Fairfax, VA. – The Inova Personalized Health Accelerator (IPHA) is hosting a ribbon-cutting ceremony on November 30 to celebrate the launch of the new accelerator program. The IPHA program aims to invest in startups founded by health technology entrepreneurs, and provides those founders with a C-suite team of coaches, customized business plans, access to the Inova Healthcare system and other tools to get their business off the ground.

“We are very excited to launch the Inova Personalized Health Accelerator, and share this program with the community,” said Michael Thomas, IPHA Director. “This mixer will be the perfect opportunity to get potential investors, potential entrepreneurs, and the surrounding communities in northern Virginia, Washington, D.C. and Baltimore an opportunity to come together and see what kind of resources we offer.”

The IPHA kickoff will be held at the Inova Center for Personalized Health in Fairfax, Virginia on the evening of Thursday, November 30. The mixer will include food and drink, as well as presentations by keynote speakers of the IPHA program.

The IPHA program is a substantial early state investment coupled with a C-suite team that is actively involved with each entrepreneur/management team, acting as an addition to their startup team. The IPHA team will help to create a custom plan of action for each portfolio company to help accelerate value-creating milestones that will expedite the next round of funding. Those in the program have exclusive access to the Inova Healthcare system as potential customers and advisors, and the Inova Strategic Investments network/portfolio as potential investors and strategic partners.
