Inova Loudoun Hospital’s 2nd Annual Community Heart Walk and 5K Fun Run

Inova Heart and Vascular Institute – Schaufeld Family Heart Center at Inova Loudoun Hospital to Hold 2nd Annual Community Heart Walk and 5K Fun Run in Support of the American Heart Association

Leesburg, VA — Hundreds of walkers and families are expected at the Inova Heart and Vascular Institute – Schaufeld Family Heart Center’s 2nd annual Community Heart Walk and 5K Fun Run to raise money for the American Heart Association. The event will take place on Saturday, October 21, 2017 from 7:30 – 10 a.m. at the Evergreen Sports Complex, 19623 Evergreen Mills Road, Leesburg. Bring the whole family; the kids’ zone will feature a moon bounce, bubble soccer, face painting, glitter tattoos, live music, and more.

Pets are not permitted on campus.

Cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death for both men and women – as a nation, but also locally in Loudoun County. An estimated 735,000 Americans suffer from a heart attack each year. Help change this by walking and raising funds for the Heart Walk.

The Inova Heart and Vascular Institute – Schaufeld Family Heart Center’s mission is to build healthier lives, free of cardiovascular disease and stroke.

This event is free of charge and open to the public. Those who make a minimum $35 donation will receive a race shirt, while supplies last.
