Inova Center for Personalized Health Announces Forum on Policy and Ethics Issues in Precision Medicine on Sept. 8

Fairfax, VA –  Inova Center for Personalized Health (ICPH) announced today it will host the first-ever Precision Medicine Policy and Ethics Conference on Sept. 8, 2017 at  Inova Center for Personalized Health in Fairfax, Va. The conference is a forum for national and industry leaders to address the most pressing challenges in the clinical adoption of genomic medicine. Panel discussions will feature experts from leading healthcare organizations, government agencies, universities and companies who will explore integration of precision medicine into:

  • Medical education and practice
  • Barriers to widespread access
  • Ownership of genetic data

Noted precision medicine experts Dr. William Gahl, Clinical Director, National Human Genome Research Institute, and Dr. Stephanie Devaney, Deputy Director, All of Us Research Program, will deliver keynote addresses before an audience of providers, policymakers, scientists and academics.
