Inova Medical Group Welcomes Cardiac Vascular and Thoracic Surgery Associates

Falls Church, VA — November 10, 2016 — Inova this week announced that Cardiac Vascular and Thoracic Surgery Associates, P.C. (CVTSA) is joining Inova Medical Group (IMG) and Inova Heart and Vascular Institute (IHVI). For more than 30 years, Inova and CVTSA have collaborated to provide excellent and experienced cardiac, vascular and thoracic care to our patients.

Since 1977, cardiac surgeons of CVTSA have performed heart surgery on more than 30,000 adult and pediatric patients and perform more than 750 thoracic surgeries each year which are rarely matched across the nation. The surgeons at CVTSA are pioneers in new treatment and recovery approaches to ensure that cardiac, thoracic and vascular patients receive the safest and the most efficient care possible.
