Inova Health System and the Washington Mystics Present Get Movin’ Family Fun Day

Saturday, September 13 at the ProJet Aviation Hangar in Leesburg, VA

Leesburg, VA — September 8, 2014 — Inova Health System and the WNBA’s Washington Mystics are proud to announce Get Movin’ Family Fun Day, a free event in celebration of National Family Health & Fitness Day. This family-oriented community event will take place from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, September 13 in the ProJet Aviation Hangar at Leesburg Executive Airport. Complimentary shuttle buses will run between Heritage High School and the event entrance. Guests will park free of charge in the high school lot at 520 Evergreen Mill Road, SE, in Leesburg. The event welcomes kids of all ages and is easily accessible for strollers and wheelchairs. The event will take place rain or shine.

Get Movin’ Family Fun Day will feature a wide variety of activities, displays and interactive exhibits encouraging family health and fitness including:

  • Radio Disney Dance Party; Great Music, Games and Prizes will get you moving.
  • Disney Junior Doc McStuffins “Toy Check-Up Clinic” (bring a favorite toy, action figure or doll for a quick check-up)
  • Games and Entertainment throughout the day
  • Family Health and Wellness demos and exhibits
  • Stage presentations will showcase something new every hour
  • Indoor/Outdoor activities include Rock Wall Climbing and Obstacle Course
  • Washington Mystics Player and Mascot appearance
  • Face Painting, Balloon Artist, Glitter Tattoos

Bring your family and friends to enjoy the day.

The first 500 families to sign-in at the event will receive a drawstring backpack and surprises courtesy of Inova and Radio Disney. All families will also have the chance to enter a special drawing for great door prizes.
