Inova Loudoun Hospital Resuming Prenatal Pilates Class

Leesburg, VA (August 16, 2013) — Inova Loudoun Hospital is resuming the Prenatal Pilates class. The class will take place at The Birthing Inn at Inova Loudoun Hospital, 44045 Riverside Parkway, Leesburg.

Gently stretching and toning has been proven effective in helping pregnant woman feel better during pregnancy, during labor, and after delivery. Our Certified Prenatal Pilates instructor will guide attendees through gentle movements that will help strengthen and tone. This will enhance your ability to be in control during your pregnancy & labor experience. This is a 10-week series. You must submit a note from your healthcare provider prior to beginning class. The class will begin on Monday, September 9 from 7 – 8 p.m. and will continue on Mondays through November 11.  The cost for the 10-week class is $115.

  • I think it is a good idea to have pilates during pre-pregnancy. I was doing that during my pregnancy. It was really helpful. Having it in the hospital would definitely be more assuring because there are also medical practitioners that would assist you while doing the exercise.
