Northern Virginia Healthy Kids Coalition Wins a Virginia Health Quality Award

(May 3, 2013) – The Northern Virginia Healthy Kids Coalition has been chosen for a 2013 Virginia Health Quality Award by VHQC, a nonprofit health quality consulting company. Winners were selected in six categories for their contributions to improving healthcare for patients in Virginia.

A community partnership to get kids healthy and to fight obesity, the Northern Virginia Healthy Kids Coalition (NVHKC) is a grassroots coalition of local organizations including Inova Health System, area school districts and others joined in a common goal: to promote better health for children of all ages.
