Inova Health System Ranked Among Washington, DC Region Best Hospitals by U.S. News & World Report

Hospitals Scored in Top 25 percent in DC Area; Inova Fairfax Ranked Second

Falls Church, VA – (March 29, 2011) –– Inova Health System’s five hospitals have been ranked among the best hospitals in the Washington, DC region in U.S. News & World Report’s first-ever Best Hospitals metro area rankings.

The rankings for Inova’s hospitals are as follows:

To be ranked in its metro area, a hospital had to score in the top 25 percent among its peers in at least one of 16 medical specialties. Inova Fairfax Hospital has been ranked among U.S. News’  “America’s Best Hospitals” fourteen times in the past 15 years.
