Inova’s ‘Link to Pink’ Offers Free E-Newsletter and Breast Health Events
Falls Church, VA – (September 16, 2010) – In recognition of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Inova’s Breast Care Institute will hold breast health events throughout Northern Virginia from September to November. Events will include breast health lectures, a shopping day to benefit cancer survivors, luncheons and a free mammogram day on Saturday, October 2.
In addition, Inova Breast Care Institute is providing a daily e-newsletter that will include a breast health tip and information about breast cancer from an Inova breast expert.

Inova Breast Care Institute received the prestigious three-year accreditation in breast care from the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC). NAPBC is part of the American College of Surgeons, which sets the standard for how patients receive breast care. Inova hospitals were among the first in the D.C. metro area to receive the accreditation, and it is the largest accredited program in the mid-Atlantic region.
