New option for sexual assault and domestic violence victims coming soon to Loudoun County, VA

Community Matters: New Inova “FACT” Location to Open in Loudoun County

Inova Loudoun Hospital is pleased to announce that the new Charles B. and Betty G. Ewing FACT Department will open in May 2018.

FACT stands for “Forensic Assessment and Consultation Teams”; this is a place where victims of sexual assault can go at any time — day or night — to receive expert medical evaluation, forensic evidence collection, and medical and emotional support.

Inova’s Loudoun FACT team will include two medical directors (1 adult, 1 pediatric), 6 SANE/forensic nurses, and 1 child life specialist.

This new Inova FACT location will be located at the Cornwall medical campus, 224A Cornwall Street, NW (same building as the Inova Emergency Room – Leesburg / Wheeler Family Emergency Department) and the Loudoun Child Advocacy Center.
