Inova Loudoun Hospital earned the following awards and recognition in 2015:

Lantern Award

The Emergency Department at Lansdowne was one of only four Emergency Departments in the nation to receive the Lantern Award from the Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) in June 2015.

Care for Severe Heart Attacks

Inova Loudoun Hospital received the American Heart Association’s 2015 Mission: Lifeline® Bronze Receiving Recognition Award for implementing specific quality improvement measures outlined by the American Heart Association for the treatment of patients who suffer severe heart attacks.

Straight A’s Since 2012

The Leapfrog Group has given Inova Loudoun Hospital yet another “A” grade in the Hospital Safety Score, which rates how well hospitals protect patients from accidents, errors, injuries and infections.

Award for Cardiac Care

This award, from the American College of Cardiology, recognizes Inova Loudoun Hospital’s commitment and success in implementing a higher standard of care for heart attack patients, and signifies that the hospital has reached an aggressive goal of treating these patients to the standards of care as outlined by the American College of Cardiology/American Heart Association clinical guidelines and recommendations.
