Annual Ladies Board Rummage Sale Named Best Annual Charity Event in Northern Virginia by Virginia Living in the Best of Virginia 2015 issue

RICHMOND, Va. — May 27, 2015 — Virginia Living’s fourth annual Best of Virginia issue is now on newsstands. The statewide guide to all that is best in Virginia from dining to shopping to doing, Best of Virginia 2015 lists the more than 1,400 winners from Virginia Living’s fourth annual Best of Virginia Readers’ Survey, conducted in January. More than 40,000 ballots were cast in 95 categories covering the best in Arts, Culture & Entertainment, Living & Recreation, Shopping & Services and Food & Drink across the state.

Best of Virginia 2015 is the guide to everything from the best shopping mall in Northern Virginia and the best barbecue restaurant in the Southwest, to the best hotel in Eastern Virginia, the best hospital in Central Virginia and the best hunting preserve in the Shenandoah Valley.

The Annual Ladies Board Rummage Sale was named the Best Annual Charity Event in Northern Virginia.

The 77th Annual Ladies Board Rummage Sale is Saturday, Oct. 17 and Sunday, Oct. 18 at Morven Park – Tutt Lane entrance, 41793 Tutt Lane (off Route 15) in Leesburg, VA. Hours are from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. both days. Proceeds benefit Ladies Board projects and nursing scholarships. Attracting shoppers from the mid-Atlantic region, this 40,000 square-foot bargain-shopping extravaganza offers almost everything imaginable, including antiques, furniture, books, clothing, tools, yard equipment, sports equipment, electrical and household items, designer labels, holiday décor, toys and linens.
