It is the No. 2 hospital in the state, behind Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, according to the annual rankings.
Inova Fairfax’s gynecology program is also No. 33 in the country, and the hospital’s neonatalogy department is No. 42 nationally, according to the 2014–2015 Best Hospitals list.
