Inova Alexandria Hospital spring campaign supports NICU

Each year, at least 250 of the 3,600 babies delivered at Inova Alexandria Hospital (IAH) will spend some time in the Charlotte and Walter Jones Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). They require special attention and support, which is why the NICU was selected by the IAH Foundation Board as the focus of the 2019 Spring2ACTion campaign.

Through generous donations from the Alexandria community, the campaign raised $30,060 to support IAH’s smallest patients. These funds were able to secure the NICU with new equipment to include: TurtleTubs, mamaRoo^® swings and new rocking chairs and footrests.
