Did you know you can help protect yourself against cancer using food? Inova oncology registered dietitian Lauren Fay says that, aside from not smoking, maintaining a healthy weight throughout life is the best way to protect against cancer.
Lauren is leading a FREE online Zoom session on Saturday, October 17 from 9 to 11 a.m., and you are invited to join us.

Lauren Fay, RD, CSO, CNSC, is a Registered Dietitian who joined Inova’s Life with Cancer program in April 2018. Lauren is a native of the Northern Virginia area, and graduated from James Madison University with her bachelor’s degree in Dietetics.
In her current position, Lauren provides nutrition counseling and recommendations to help support the nutrition needs of patients and caregivers before, during, and after cancer treatment.
