Inova Fairfax Medical Campus is on lockdown. Fairfax County Police are searching for a suspect that is considered armed and dangerous. Employees should go to Falls Church High School, Route 50 and Jaguar Lane, hospital buses will transport you to Medical Campus.
With the campus being on lockdown, ambulances are being diverted to nearby hospitals and individuals seeking emergency services should also go to nearby hospitals. Elective surgeries have been cancelled and patients will be contacted to reschedule.
