Inova Health System Lung Cancer Awareness Event to ‘Shine a Light’ On Treatment Options
Patients, Physicians to Discuss Medical Advancements and Honor Those with the Disease
Fairfax, VA – (October 26, 2010) – Inova Health System will host a Lung Cancer Awareness event in recognition of National Lung Cancer Awareness Month on Thursday, November 4. The conference – officially titled Shine a Light on Lung Cancer– will feature a thoracic oncology expert who will discuss advancements in treatment options for the disease and highlight patient experiences.

The event, hosted by Inova Thoracic Oncology Program, Life with Cancer and Lung Cancer Alliance, will also observe a moment of silence to honor lung cancer patients, those who have lost their fight against the disease and their loved ones.
