State-of-the-art healthcare facility opening in November

Inova celebrates new Inova Health Center – Oakville with ribbon cutting

Fairfax, VA – Oct. 31, 2024 – Inova celebrated the grand opening of its new Inova Health Center – Oakville today with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by local officials, community members, Inova team members and leaders. The state-of-the-art facility is located in Alexandria’s Oakville Triangle across from Potomac Yard.

The Inova Health Center – Oakville will offer a wide range of services, including a full-service emergency department for all ages, outpatient surgery, advanced diagnostic imaging, primary and specialty care, including cardiology, gastroenterology and general surgery. The 24/7/365 emergency room will ensure that the growing population in Alexandria, Arlington and surrounding region has ready access to high-quality care close to home.

The Inova Health Center – Oakville is part of Inova’s broader Eastern Region development plan and is an integral part of its growing network of care. It will complement the services provided by Inova Alexandria Hospital and other Inova facilities throughout the region. The health center was designed with the patient experience in mind, marking a new, welcoming architectural design with modern amenities that enhance the overall patient experience, designed by renowned design firms Ballinger and Ennead Architects. Last month, Inova broke ground on two new hospitals serving its Eastern Region – Inova Alexandria and Inova Franconia-Springfield – which are expected to be completed in 2028.
