Inova Children’s unveils new logo; reinforces commitment to pediatric care

Fairfax, VA, June 25, 2024 – Today, Inova Children’s unveiled a vibrant new logo, signaling Inova Health’s ongoing investment and commitment to pediatric care. Inova remains committed to providing world-class, expert care close to home and expanding services to meet the growing needs of the community.

The redesigned logo draws inspiration from Inova’s new parent brand which launched in October 2023. It features bright, cheerful colors and playful imagery to reflect Inova Children’s welcoming and comforting environment for children and their families.

Inova Children’s has provided comprehensive, high-quality services to meet the diverse needs of children from prenatal through adolescence for more than 50 years. Inova L.J. Murphy Children’s Hospital, Northern Virginia’s only dedicated children’s hospital, opened in 2016 to meet the increasing demand for pediatric healthcare services. It provides specialized care in a state-of-the-art, kid-friendly environment, supported by expert teams dedicated to collaborating with patients and families to deliver compassionate care. The hospital features Northern Virginia’s only Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), and full-service pediatric emergency department.

Central to Inova’s renewed commitment to pediatric care is the investment in expanding services. Since opening its hospital doors, Inova Children’s has grown significantly with the addition of:

• Inova Children’s Heart Center including the recruitment of nationally and internationally recognized physicians and surgeons, as well as the establishment of Inova Children’s Cardiology, an outpatient pediatric cardiology practice with eight locations in Northern Virginia and suburban Maryland.
• Inova Children’s General and Thoracic Surgery practice, enabling Inova Children’s to streamline the surgical experience for patients and families with integrated practice operations, providing seamless care from the surgeon’s office to the operating room to post-surgical care.
• Inova Children’s Sleep Center, the only American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM)-accredited sleep center in Northern Virginia that is dedicated exclusively to working with patients ages 20 years and younger.
• Inova Children’s Fetal Care Center, which provides a supportive team approach to pregnant women who are at risk or suspected of carrying a baby with a fetal concern. The Fetal Care Center provides a full continuum of care by combining the expertise of Inova Women’s Hospital with highly specialized neonatologists and pediatric subspecialists of Inova L. J. Murphy Children’s Hospital.
• Inova Children’s multispecialty outpatient locations in Fairfax and Ashburn, offer families convenient access to a wide range of pediatric subspecialty services. These offices are strategically located near Inova L.J. Murphy Children’s Hospital and the secondary pediatric hub, Inova Loudoun Hospital, ensuring seamless transition of care for patients.
