Inova Loudoun Hospital Foundation and Middleburg Community Center Offering Concussion Session

Leesburg, VA – November 4, 2015 – Inova Loudoun Hospital Foundation and the Middleburg Community Center are partnering to bring to the community an educational session about Concussions on Wednesday, November 18 from 5:30 – 7 p.m. at the Middleburg Community Center, 300 West Washington Street, Middleburg. There will be a panel discussion and Q&A session. Complimentary baseline screenings will be offered for attendees 12 years old and older.

Panel experts will be Jill McCabe, MD, Medical Director of Pediatric ER, and the Outpatient Concussion Program at Inova Loudoun Hospital; Anne Blackstone, MSPT, Rehabilitation Clinic Coordinator at Inova Loudoun Hospital; and Cassandra Good, Inova Loudoun Hospital concussion clinic patient and local equestrian.

The evening is hosted by Bundles Murdock, President, Middleburg Community Center and Cricket Bedford, Inova Loudoun Hospital Foundation Board of Trustees. This is the first of a quarterly Community Health Event series the Inova Loudoun Hospital Foundation and the Middleburg Community Center plan to host on various health topics.
