FALLS CHURCH, VA – September 16, 2014 – Inova Fairfax Hospital as been named on Becker’s Hospital Review’s 2014 125 hospitals and health systems with great orthopedic programs list. Inova Fairfax Hospital is the only hospital in the Washington DC metro area on the list.
The organizations included on this list have orthopedic surgery departments, programs or dedicated centers that have earned considerable recognition. Exceptional orthopedic departments often include physicians who provide outstanding patient care, advance cutting-edge orthopedic research and treat professional athletes.
Many of these hospitals have earned recognition for orthopedic excellence from U.S. News & World Report, Healthgrades, CareChex and Blue Cross Blue Shield. To devise this list, the Becker’s editorial team weighted the aforementioned rankings and recognition, and conducted research to find the following hospitals as those with great orthopedic programs.
