Inova Hosts Bone Marrow Donor Drive

You Could Be the Match

What: Inova Fairfax Hospital is holding a Bone Marrow donor drive, where you can register to be a potential donor someone in need. Just a simple cheek swab can help save a life.

When: Thursday, June 26, 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Where: Inova Fairfax Medical Campus, Heart and Vascular Institute Atrium, 3300 Gallows Rd, Falls Church, VA, 22042Visitor parking in Grey Garage.

  • Patients are most likely to match someone of their own race or ethnicity.
  • More young people of diverse racial and ethnic heritage are needed now to help patients searching for a match.
  • Doctors request donors in the 18-44 age group more than 90% of the time.
