Inova Mount Vernon Hospital Reaccredited By Joint Commission

Hospital Recognized for Delivering High-Quality Care

Alexandria, VA – (May 4, 2011) — The Joint Commission has officially reaccredited Inova Mount Vernon Hospital for delivering high-quality care.

Inova Mount Vernon Hospital earned this recognition by demonstrating compliance with The Joint Commission’s national standards for quality care and safety.

Reaccreditation signifies that the hospital meets and exceeds treatment standards set by Joint Commission. To earn this reaccreditation clinical experts reviewed the hospital’s standard practices and outcomes.

The Joint Commission, an independent, not-for-profit organization, is the nation’s predominant standards-setting and accrediting body in healthcare.
