Inova Fairfax Hospital’s, Dr. Ronald Childs, Featured on WUSA9

Dr. Ronald Childs, Medical Director of Inova Spine Institute at Inova Fairfax Hospital, spoke with WUSA9 about the risks of shoveling heavy/wet snow. Shoveling heavy snow can lead to back pain or the overexertion can cause a heart attack, it is important to take care of both your back and your heart while clearing your sidewalks and driveways!  He gives advice on what you can do if you experience back pain – (March 7, 2013).
