RICHMOND, Va. — June 9, 2016 — For the second year, the Annual Ladies Board Rummage Sale was named the Best Annual Charity Event in Northern Virginia and new this year The Ladies Board was named Best Charity in Northern Virginia.
Virginia Living’s fifth annual Best of Virginia issue is now on newsstands. The statewide guide to all that is best in Virginia from dining to shopping to doing, Best of Virginia 2016 lists the more than 1,500 winners from Virginia Living’s fifth annual Best of Virginia Readers’ Survey, conducted in January. More than 30,000 ballots were cast in 100 categories covering the best in Arts, Culture & Entertainment, Living & Recreation, Shopping & Services and Food & Drink across the state.

The 77th Annual Ladies Board Rummage Sale is Saturday, Oct. 15 and Sunday,
Oct. 16 at Morven Park – Tutt Lane entrance, 41580 Sunday Morning Lane just north of Leesburg, VA along Route 15. Hours are from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. both days. Proceeds benefit Inova Loudoun Hospital and The Ladies Board Nursing Scholarship Fund. Attracting shoppers from the mid-Atlantic region, this 50,000 square-foot bargain-shopping extravaganza offers almost everything imaginable, including antiques, furniture, books, clothing, tools, yard equipment, sports equipment, electrical and household items, designer labels, holiday décor, toys and linens.
