Evergreen FC Soccer Club Announces Partnership with Inova for 2015-16 Season
Partnership Includes Numerous Sports Health Educational Programs at the Evergreen Sportsplex
Leesburg, VA – May 12, 2015 – Evergreen FC Soccer Club Announces Partnership with Inova for 2015-16 Season. The Evergreen FC Soccer Club of Leesburg, Virginia is pleased to announce a partnership with Inova for the 2015-16 season.
Evergreen FC youth travel teams will proudly wear the Inova name and logo across the chests of their jerseys starting with the Evergreen Hammers Super Y teams this summer and then with the Evergreen FC club teams starting in the fall of 2015. All Evergreen FC teams up to and including planned U20 teams will be part of the Inova partnership.
“Health and fitness in our community are critical and this partnership is an opportunity for us to make a direct connection with athletes of all ages in our county,” said H. Patrick Walters, CEO Inova Loudoun Hospital. “It will also provide a venue for us to expand our education programs for those involved at Evergreen Sportsplex.”
In addition to supporting our teams and tournaments, Inova will be promoting and conducting numerous health educational programs at the Evergreen Sportsplex, including bringing their medical staff, Mobile Health Services and Blood Mobile to a variety of Sportsplex events.
The planned annual 4th of July Weekend Tournament hosted by Evergreen FC at the Evergreen Sportsplex at 19623 Evergreen Mills Rd. in Leesburg will be called the Inova Independence Day Tournament. This tournament will be open to both boys and girls from ages 9 through 16. This tournament will be conducted in conjunction with Evergreen FC partner West Ham United of the English Premiership.
The Inova Summer Invitational tournament will include other invited West Ham United partner clubs from around North America. Players who attend the tournament will be evaluated by West Ham scouts and coaches and may be invited to participate in the National West Ham United ID camp. Players and their families will also have an opportunity to attend Inova-offered sports health educational programs during the tournament.
The Inova Summer Invitational will be the first of many tournaments held at the Evergreen Sportsplex, designed to offer more than just great competition at the Mid-Atlantic’s premier tournament venue – with Inova and other partners Evergreen FC and the Sportsplex will offer unique complimentary educational and developmental programs to all event participants.
