The National Weather Service Baltimore/Washington DC issued a Winter Weather Advisory in effect for Wednesday, December 16 from 10 a.m. to Thursday, December 17, 1 a.m. EST.

Inova regularly trains and prepares for emergency events, including weather-related events. We will continue to provide high quality care while keeping our staff, patients and visitors safe. As always, Inova hospitals and emergency care centers will be open 24/7. We will post any cancellations, closings or delays due to the inclement weather. Please heed all advisories by emergency management to stay safe!

  • Inova Mount Vernon Cardiac Rehab will open on Thursday, December 17 at 8:45 a.m.
    • Please note: The 7:30 a.m. class will be cancelled. Patients may contact the department to schedule a make up session if desired.

    Hi INOVA—Thanks for this excellent new service, great work.. one minor comment, perhaps use a NWS graphic for snow amounts instead of the Capitol Weather Gang image, just a thought..see NWS graphic below.

      Thank you for the recommendation. We have updated the snow accumulation graphic with a National Weather Service graphic, https://www.weather.gov/lwx/winter.
