Inova Children’s Opens New Outpatient Specialty Locations

Sites expand regional access to pediatric subspecialty care

Falls Church, VA – Inova Children’s celebrates the opening of two new specialty care locations that give families in Northern Virginia easy and convenient access to a broad range of pediatric subspecialty services.

Inova Children’s – Willow Oaks, located at 8280 Willow Oaks Corporate Drive in Fairfax, is a 25,000-square-foot facility that includes 46 exam rooms and 14 subspecialties:

  • Allergy and Immunology
  • Breastfeeding Medicine
  • Developmental Pediatrics
  • Endocrinology
  • Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology
  • Genetics
  • Infectious Diseases
  • Infusion
  • Laboratory Services
  • Nephrology
  • Neurosurgery
  • Psychiatry
  • Psychology
  • Rheumatology

The new specialties supplement other Inova Children’s services already offered at Willow Oaks, including cardiology, cardiac surgery, outpatient rehabilitation, and general and thoracic surgery.

Inova Children’s – Ashburn HealthPlex is located at22505 Landmark Court in Ashburn and includes six exam rooms and six subspecialties:

  • Allergy
  • Immunology
  • Endocrinology
  • Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology
  • Nephrology
  • Rheumatology.

Both spaces feature an environment specially designed for children and families, integrating feedback from physicians, nurses, clinical team members and Inova Children’s Patient and Family Advisory Council.  Exam rooms are modern, child-friendly, sensory-friendly and equipped with tele-health capability.

The new sites are located close to Inova Children’s regional and secondary pediatric hubs – Inova L.J. Murphy Children’s Hospital in Fairfax and Inova Loudoun Hospital in Leesburg. In addition, they offer families easy transition of care.
