Falls Church, VA – Inova Health System is pleased to announce that Fairfax Family Practice Centers (FFPC) will be joining Inova effective June 25. FFPC’s 12 medical offices, as well as its physicians, advanced practice providers, and residents will help expand Inova’s primary care services to meet the growing and diverse healthcare needs across Northern Virginia.
“FFPC and Inova share values in caring for our community and believe that the relationship between providers and patients is a foundation of healthcare,” said J. Stephen Jones, MD, President and CEO, Inova. “We are excited to partner with FFPC as we integrate and develop our Primary Care Service Line.”
FFPC has 12 primary care offices and nearly 500 team members, including more than 150 physicians, advanced practice providers and residents. Inova and FFPC have been working together for months to ensure a seamless transition so that FFPC patients will have uninterrupted care with the same physicians, at the same locations.
“This new partnership allows us to provide integrated care for our patients in Northern Virginia and expand the Family Medicine Residency Training Program, which is essential to the growth of primary care services in our community,” said Sam Jones, MD, President, Inova Primary Care. “By joining Inova, we will build upon our mission to provide the highest quality, patient-centered care and an exceptional patient experience.”
