FALLS CHURCH, VA–Inova Health System announced today that Alice H. Pope, MBA, CPA, will serve as its new Chief Financial Officer, effective July 1.
Alice joins from HonorHealth in Arizona where she is Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. At HonorHealth, Alice directed a broad range of financial and revenue cycle activities, including investment and treasury management, financial reporting, auditing, supply chain and payor contracting. Prior to HonorHealth, she was CFO at Wellmont Health System from 2000 – 2016. She started her career in the audit practice at Arthur Andersen.

Pope graduated from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce and Accounting, and received a Masters in Business Administration from East Tennessee State University.
She will take the CFO role following the retirement of longtime CFO Richard Magenheimer, who leaves Inova this week after 32 years.
