Inova Health System Names New Executive Vice President, Corporate Services

Todd A. Stottlemyer Focus Includes Technology & Community Partnerships

Falls Church, VA – (February 10, 2009) – Todd A. Stottlemyer has been named Executive Vice President, Corporate Services, for Inova Health System, Northern Virginia’s premier not-for-profit healthcare provider and a leader in excellence in patient care, clinical research and education.

In his role, Mr. Stottlemyer will oversee technology innovation, legal services, compliance and privacy, and systemwide governance. His role also includes leadership oversight of Inova’s commitment to strong community partnerships in the areas of community affairs, governmental affairs and Inova’s foundations and philanthropic activities.

“One of Inova’s primary goals is to further develop and enhance our partnerships from both the private and public sectors of the communities we serve and expand the use of technology to achieve our vision of being the best in the world in patient care, education and research,” said Knox Singleton, President and CEO of Inova Health System. “Todd is uniquely prepared by his prior leadership roles to help Inova address these priority goals.”

Mr. Stottlemyer has served as CEO of Apogen Technologies, Inc., which was named one of the 50 best places to work in the Washington, D.C., area, and has served as Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Financial Officer for BTG, Inc., and Corporate Vice President of BDM International, both of which are technology firms in Northern Virginia. He has also led McGuire Woods Consulting as its Managing Director, providing professional assistance to companies around growth strategies and merger integration and strategy. Most recently, he served as President and CEO of the National Federation of Independent Business.

Mr. Stottlemyer is active in a variety of community, civic and volunteer governmental roles. He was a long-time Board member and former Vice Chairman of the Northern Virginia Technology Council;  former Board member and Vice Chairman of the Virginia Chamber of Commerce; former Chairmanof the Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce; and, Commissioner on the Fairfax County Economic Development Authority. He is Chairman of Helping Children Worldwide, Inc., a not-for-profit organization that, among other things, started and runs a hospital in Sierra Leone, and has served on the Board of the Inova Health System Foundation.

Mr. Stottlemyer earned his B.A. degree from The College of William and Mary (Phi Beta Kappa) and his J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center (cum laude).
