Inova Loudoun Hospital Offering Virtual “Ask the Expert” Lecture – Endometriosis: Signs, Symptoms and Treatment
Leesburg, VA – As part of its free “Ask the Expert” lecture series, Inova Loudoun Hospital will host “Endometriosis: Signs, Symptoms and Treatment” on Tuesday,September 29 from 6 – 7:30 p.m. using the Zoom video platform.
Join Dr. Nadim Hawa, board certified Obstetrics and Gynecology Surgeon and fellowship trained in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery, for an informative virtual lecture and interactive Q&A session about endometriosis. Endometriosis is the abnormal growth of the uterine lining outside of the uterus. Depending on the location, symptoms can range from menstrual pain, painful intercourse, urinary urgency, painful bowel movements and infertility. Early consultation with an OB-GYN specialized in endometriosis is recommended. Attendees will learn about symptoms, earlier diagnosis, more treatment options and improved disease management.
