Find Treasures at the 71st Annual Ladies Board Rummage Sale Benefitting Inova Loudoun Hospital

Leesburg, VA – (September 4, 2009) – The Ladies Board of Inova Loudoun Hospital has set Friday, Oct. 16, and Saturday, Oct. 17, for the 71st Annual Ladies Board Rummage Sale, at Morven Park Equestrian Center, 41793 Tutt Lane (off Route 15) in Leesburg, VA. Hours are from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. both days. Proceeds benefit Ladies Board projects and nursing scholarships.

Often called Loudoun County’s largest treasure hunt, this 40,000 square-foot bargain-shopping extravaganza offers almost everything imaginable, including antiques, furniture, books, clothing, tools, yard equipment, sports equipment, electrical goods, household items, designer fashions, holiday items and linens. It might take both days to see everything! Hot dogs and barbecue will be available for shoppers. Patrons can also bid on local gift certificates, jewelry, artwork and other treasures at the Silent Auction held Friday, Oct. 16, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Admission is free during regular sale hours, but the doors will open at 8 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 16 for the “Early Bird Hour.” Early Bird tickets are $5 per person and are needed for anyone 12 years old or older before 9 a.m. Friday. Ticket proceeds will benefit the Polly Clemens Nursery Fund, a Ladies Board project dedicated to special needs at the Inova Loudoun Hospital Nursery.

The Ladies Board of Inova Loudoun Hospital is a non-profit organization with the mission to promote good will between the community and the hospital, and to raise funds for nursing education, patient services and special projects.
