Inova Translational Medicine Institute’s Study Featured in Time Magazine

Inova Translational Medicine Institute‘s (ITMI) unprecedented study sequencing the DNA of 2,500 pregnant couples and their newborns to explore the connection between genomics and future health is featured in Time magazine this week. One of the first participants, Emma Warin, spoke with Time about why she wanted her and her baby to be part of the study – (October 22, 2012).

Read more about what Dr. John Niederhuber, CEO, ITMI and Kathi Huddleston, Director of Clinical Research at Inova, have to say about the study.

Watch how whole genome sequencing can help one family learn more about their daughter’s health condition and hopefully better care for her in the future.
