Inova Fairfax Hospital for Children to Benefit from 4th Annual Cox Movies Under the Moon

Falls Church, VA – (June 7, 2007) — Grab your beach chair or blanket and join us for five nights of hit films as Cox Communications, in partnership with the City of Fairfax, presents the fourth annual Cox Movies Under the Moon. This free summertime outdoor film festival kicks off on Thursday, June 21 at Van Dyck Park in Fairfax and benefits Inova Fairfax Hospital for Children.

The films will be shown on a giant 40-foot by 20-foot screen with a Dolby surround sound system. Ice cream, popcorn, hot dogs, drinks and a variety of food will be available. Spectators are encouraged to purchase food from on-site vendors and proceeds will go to support Inova Fairfax Hospital for Children. Funds raised from this year’s event will go to support the hospital’s Child Life, pediatric rehabilitation, and Reach Out and Read programs. Since its inception four years ago, Cox Movies Under the Moon has raised $30,000 for the hospital.

This year’s event is presented by WUSA Channel 9 and WASH FM.
