Book Proceeds Will Benefit Inova Loudoun Hospital

Leesburg, VA – (December 11, 2012) – Inova Loudoun Hospital will host a book launch for Beamer Visits The Emergency Room, the first book in the Beamer Book Series™ on Thursday, December 13 from 4 – 5 p.m. at Inova Loudoun Hospital, 44045 Riverside Parkway, Leesburg, Va. The event will take place in the second floor museum area. Attendees should use the main entrance and follow event signs.

The public is invited to this FREE book launch. The book was written for school aged children. Guests can meet the main characters in the series including Dr. Poochio and Kyle. Beamer (the real therapy dog) will pose for photos with attendees. There will be giveaways for the kids including books. Books will also be available for purchase for $14.95.

In Beamer Visits The Emergency Room, Beamer meets some very kind professionals on his visit to the emergency room, including Dr. Poochio, who becomes his mentor and friend.  In real life, at Inova Loudoun Hospital Dr. Edward Puccio is the medical director of the Emergency Department and Beamer is a nationally certified therapy dog who visits the children at Inova Loudoun Hospital to help them feel better.

Net proceeds from the sale of Beamer Book Series™ go Inova Loudoun Hospital and other charities.
